How a simple idea became one of Hungary's leading pellet and briquette distributors
Over coffee in 2018, we talked about what we saw every day in the wood industry: a lot of sawdust and wood waste going unused, while the price of heating continues to rise.
That's when we had the idea: what if we could make a reliable, cleaner and sustainable fuel from this material?
And so EcoFlame was born.
We didn't want to change the world, we wanted to give you a better solution. The production of pellets and briquettes gives us the opportunity to turn wood by-products into value - efficient heating with predictable quality.
The first year, there were two of us working out of a rented warehouse. Today, we deliver nationwide, but with the same approach: to provide a product that is a good choice for the wallet and the conscience.
What we do differently
Honestly: pellets are sold by many people. The difference is how they select it, where they source it and how they approach their customers.
With us, it's not just the price that counts, but also the background: we check the origin of the raw materials, the suppliers and the certificates. We work with partners who think responsibly in the long term.
Is it more work? Yes. But that's exactly why we can promise quality with a clear heart.

Where what we sell comes from
Many people think that forests are cut down for pellets. In our case, this is not the case.
The majority of our products are made from sawmill by-products: sawdust, shavings and wood chips. What was once waste is now a modern, reliable fuel.
Our suppliers are carefully selected. We work to PEFC/FSC standards and quality is checked to ENplus or DINplus standards.
How we got here
We started in 2018 with planning and market research, and in 2019 we opened our first warehouse and started delivering in Pest county.
From 2020 we went national, in 2022 we launched our premium range and in 2024 we launched our online shop to make ordering quicker and easier.
Our goal remains unchanged: to make EcoFlame one of the number one names in reliable, environmentally responsible heating fuel in our country.
